東西兩大強權騎士、馬刺在28日正面交鋒，沒想到比賽結果是一面倒，騎士在上半場就落後超過20分，終場以74：103不敵馬刺，輸球後也將東區龍頭的寶座讓給了塞爾提克。

主場作戰的馬刺在首節就打出強悍防守，讓騎士單節命中率僅有36.4％，並且靠著Manu Ginobili和Pau Gasol從板凳殺出，第一節打完便取得28：18領先。次節Kawhi Leonard和LaMarcus Aldridge再聯手飆分，馬刺上半場便取得64：40的大幅領先，就此奠定勝基。

總計Leonard攻下全場最高25分，Aldridge則是有14分7籃板進帳，馬刺此役12名球員上全員都有得分進帳，Ginobili拿下12分，Gasol也自板凳挹注14分，綿延不絕的火力讓騎士是防不勝防。

屋漏偏逢連夜雨，騎士在下半場還傷了陣中第一主將LeBron James，James在第三節倒數讀秒階段時，因為爭搶籃板遭到David Lee的手肘撞傷背部，隨後便退場治療，並未再返回比賽，必須做更進一步的檢查才能確認傷勢。

雖然負傷提早退場，James仍繳出17分8籃板8助攻的全面成績，雖然得分創下本季個人新低，但已是騎士此役表現最佳的球員。

輸球後騎士戰績為47勝26敗，跌落東區龍頭寶座，落後給塞爾提克有0.5場勝差，至於馬刺贏球後戰績為57勝16敗，和西區排名第1的勇士還有2場勝場的差距。

馬林魚隊旅美好手陳偉殷今天跟中日龍隊前隊友吉見一起進行公開自主訓練，兩人談到過去往事都不禁笑了起來，殷仔也透露希望讓吉見多認識一些美式不同的訓練方法。

殷仔是在2012年起於美國職棒打拚，也接觸到不同於日式的強度與變化，他說：「我們以前在日本就常在一起，希望從聊天讓他知道一些美國訓練方法，他也想知道如何每場都能投超過100球，如何事先調整的方式。」

不過陳偉殷也強調，因為跑步完就馬上接著傳接球，的確會比較累，因為日本在自主訓練時，中間休息時間比較長，這也剛好讓他可以去適應這樣的強度。
